fouling plugs31 Oct 2005 22:26 GMT11
I have a 97 1200 Suzuki Bandit.
Lately it fouls plugs, but runs great after plug replacement. My thoughts
are that the ignition coil/wire combos are broken down and I need to replace
coils. The wires can't be replaced separately on these coils.

Cold raining...30 Oct 2005 15:23 GMT7
So it was an absolutely crappy day here in UT.  Nothing really to do, so I
find myself reading rec.motorcycles.dirt, since I have a few old dirt bikes
in the garage.
I thought this a.m.s was whacked, then I came across this post:

Egalitarian Finland most competitive, too
Despite hefty government spending on social benefits, Finland tops
global economies. Second in a three-part series.

Moment of Inertia, Turn In, Unsprung Weight, blah, blah...30 Oct 2005 03:22 GMT6
Does anyone have experience with low mass wheels such carbon fibre? Can
reducing the inertial mass of wheels and associated rotating components such
as brake rotors produce a noticeable (as opposed to theoretical) improvement
in handling? Who makes GP wheels? What do GP wheels ...
1995 YZF 600 or FZR 600 - how to tell the difference?29 Oct 2005 23:26 GMT3
Hi, I'm considering purchase of a used sportbike, advertised as a 1995
YZF 600.  I've been looking around on the web and have come across a
lot of pictures, but it's not clear to me how to tell the difference
between the FZR and the YZF 600 - they look very similar to a newbie
Manslaughter thread officiall a dead thread!28 Oct 2005 03:09 GMT7
This kind of thread is what's ruining AMS. After the 1st 30 posts
nothing new is said or learned. It's a trailer trash thread of the
(worst kind) or reeky variety.

Visor fogging27 Oct 2005 19:40 GMT13
What's the secret to preventing a helmet's visor from fogging when it
is in the full down position? (especially in cold temps)
I have my helmets vents fully open, but it still does it.

kind of OT: help needed27 Oct 2005 13:56 GMT5
Quite some time ago (probably more than a year) someone posted a link to some concept/limited production car's website. I think it was called the Raptor, but all sorts of internet searches have turned up with incorrect results... hmmm maybe it wasn't called the Raptor after all.

What the heck is a "farring squeeze"?     I use to have an 01 ZX9R and would
like another one.  I don't really see much of any damage in the picture and
the guy claims to have a new set so ...

I didn't think it would fit but sure enough my old leather pants fit
right over the prosthetic leg (your left, my right).
