Rider needs help in Kamloops.31 Aug 2006 08:33 GMT60
One of the Ohio Crew riding with Saddlebags is in desperate need of a
rear tire for a 2002 goldwing.  I have searched online for a Honda
Dealer in Kamloops, or a motorcycle dealer in Kamloops.  There appears
to be nothing there, at least on Google.  They should be pulling in

I just purchased a beautiful LN 2000 Yellow VFR, however when looking
around all VFR accessories seem to be offered in the more common red.
Does anyone here know where I can the yellow VFR accessories?

well it wasn't a cakewalk
3.5 hours of re-alignment and ligament grafting etc, then the rather
distressing inability of the post-op staff to control the initial pain
following surgery.
On topic, non sportbike post...29 Aug 2006 17:14 GMT15
Anyone ridden one of them DR-Z400S type Zooki's? Particularly on the
highway? It looks like an off road bike mostly, so I assume its a better
dirtroad bike than something like the KLR650, but how does it do for REAL
highway work? I assume it isn't as good as a KLR, but lets say I ...

Ducati Prices - Multistrada opinions29 Aug 2006 01:03 GMT9
I'll just toss this out into the wind:
I have been entertaining the idea of a new / different bike, mostly driven
by my recent forays onto dirt roads and desire for some hardcases.
I also want something with more panache, thus enter the Ducati Mulitstrada
Water cooled American sportbike available!28 Aug 2006 08:46 GMT16
$8000.00 retail. 650 Vtwin. 77 HP weighing in the mid 300s.  They have
a lighter race version too. No FI though. It has Ohlins on the rear.
Don't know about the forks. Perhaps Showa?

Got my new wheels..28 Aug 2006 02:18 GMT5
When my wheels on my Honda 600rr decided to self destruct after hitting a
pothole, I quickly attempted to get some new wheels quickly. That was hard,
and stock wheels darn near cost as much as aftermarket..
I got lucky, one of my venders was alble to send me overnight a brand new

A "Heavenly Save" (long)24 Aug 2006 16:42 GMT12
A "Heavenly Save", that is the only explanation I can come up with for not
crashing yesterday 8/21/06 at Summit Point Main. About 35% of my rear wheel
was shattered, gone, blown out, tire off the rim, front wheel, two big
dents, but no blowout.
Jetted carbs and power commander?23 Aug 2006 21:36 GMT1
Please help me with my ignorance.  I saw this ad on craigslist :
http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/mcy/197817111.html
It lists both jetted carbs and a Power Commander.  Wouldn't that imply
both carbs and fuel injection?  Can you have both?
Sportbikes and stoplights.23 Aug 2006 08:56 GMT42
I'm sure there probably isn't anything that can be done about it, but
man is it annoying how sportbikes lack of iron based metal refuses to
trip stoplight sensors.
Real late at night i find myself looking real good both ways then rolling
