Troy pulls a boner....31 Mar 2007 02:32 GMT53
So I forgot to mention this earlier, and in the interest of full disclosure
as to my lack of wrenchin abilities ( after seeing saddles post ), I figured
I would tell my most recent boner story.
So there I am last weekend, changing whatever oils are left in my vehicles,
Wouldn't something like this solve certain racing class issues?30 Mar 2007 23:07 GMT20

Seems reasonable to me anyway. Buells would be free to compete against
Busa's and itsy bitsy bikes and Superbikes and 250 two strokes and such
without all the usual gyrations required to pretend to make things equal.
really boned this one... 2002 Suzuki Bandit 120030 Mar 2007 15:38 GMT3
Hey can anyone with a service manual give me a hint??? I was
reinstalling my battery after storage. Long story short no lights in
garage... getting dark battery installed backwards. I checked my fuses
and they were good. Can anyone tell me if the battery cables would

Tornado warnings AND winter storm watch today in Colorado. Snow all over the
mountains, tornado's on the plains, and the bastards lied to me and said it
was going to rain around here, so I took the truck, and it was just another
65F+ and sunny day.
pant attachment29 Mar 2007 01:06 GMT28
Question: How does the integral 8" zipper found in many cycle jackets
attach to cycle pants?  It's apparent that the bottom of the zipper
comes off the jacket and is sewn to the pants, but in what
configuation?

Free hearing protection kit promotion28 Mar 2007 01:35 GMT26

As far as I can tell, no strings attached. Just fill out some shipping info,
answer a brief questionnaire, and like magic you'll get a box full of
hearing protection goodies soon afterward. I just got mine in the mail
SS1000 vs S4Rs for trackdays27 Mar 2007 03:17 GMT104
So, I took my S4Rs (998cc 4v liquid-cooled testastretta-engined
Monster w/ Ohlins shock and fork & Brembo radial-mount calipers) out
for two track days last year.  It was fun.  The suspension and brakes
were killer.  The motor was WWWAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY more than I need or

In the interest of full discloser I am also selling this item:

So a buyer comes buy.  And asks to hear it run. So I explain that 8hp motors
can be hard to start...
Wrenchin25 Mar 2007 00:25 GMT9
Having just sold a pile of Duc parts and feeling another year older
and stiffer on my first couple of rides I sprung for a set of Helibars
for the Duc.  It's actually a new upper triple clamp as opposed to
their normal bar/clipon improvements.  The clamp moves the bars back

my wife asked to look for a bike for her24 Mar 2007 17:36 GMT41
It is a big day today. My wife asked me to find a bike for her. Will
sign up her for MNFC first, but in meantime I need to start a research.
What would you recommend for 4'11" tall women (she like sports, swims
very well etc).
The madness begins....23 Mar 2007 14:44 GMT12
This is mainly for Saddle, he was interested in my Buell project. I
picked up an '07 Buell STT tonight, along with a few parts to make it in
to the sport touring bike Buell should have built.
