I was watching TV and they had a report on the news about how many
motorcyclists die in accidents and that they are more likely to die because
they are on motorcycles. Now I dont know about you but that fuckin pisses me
off. Obviously, you dont have the protection of the interior ...

We are a group of students of university of Aalborg and we are making
a formula student car in our spare time. The engine for the car is
from a honda cbr 600 rr from 2003. It has been fitted with a
supercharger because we have an air limiter.

I heard a rumor that a magical superhuman OT got hit by a car
and was bounced off of his motorcycle.  Golly!  Some days the

Since I hooked into a sportbike - 1996 Yamaha YZF600R, I never looked
back any types of bike. Now I upgraded to new R1. I'm middle of 30s,
riding sportbike since 2002.

I thought Yamaha going back to the simpler 4-valve scheme was a winner
for several reasons. There's no real advantage to high-end breathing
UNLESS you push the red line up to above say 15K RPM on 250cc-sized
cylinders. Ferrari found out long ago with their Quatrovalva engine

Just bought my first sportbike.  Suz. GSXR750 (2000).
Couple of questions:
1) The redline is at 14,000 RPM.  Seems to me like the bike is
screaming to be shifted around 7,000 tops.  It feels like I'll blow

Started off a pisser because the gates were supposed to open at 7AM,
and a whole bunch of us arrived plus/mins 10 minutes of that, and the
gatekeeper didn't show and the track admin didn't get the gat oprn
until 7:45.

This may sounds like a really basic and stupid question but can
someone tell me what the difference is between a tinted and a mirrored
visor?

Anyone know what type of store carries little plastic bolts and
nuts?  Something that would fit in a 1/8" hole or so, to hold a
windscreen onto an upper cowling?  I lost a few in the last crash
