| Changing Tire Brand | 30 Jun 2007 07:45 GMT | 11 |
As part of some needed service, I asked my dealer's service dept to install a new pair of tires. There was no discussion about type or brand; I assumed I would get another pair identical to what the bike came with when I bought it at the same dealer.

| Anyone else have this problem? | 29 Jun 2007 20:16 GMT | 16 |
I went for a ride yesterday on my Kawasaki VN800B Classic. I was less than two miles from home when I came to a four-way stop. I was still running a touch of choke. The bike has just over 750 miles on it. I began pulling away from the stop sign when the bike suddenly locks up,

| Yamaha XS650 twin | 29 Jun 2007 18:10 GMT | 21 |
After a recent bout of twin-bashing on rec.motorcycles, I dragged out my old XS650 parallel twin last night and took it for a ride. The ride was good, I enjoyed the sound from those skinny chrome mufflers even if the 650 corners like a pig compared to the sportbike I usually ...

| Carb Kit for a Kawasaki 125 | 26 Jun 2007 07:11 GMT | 3 |
I've been tearing up the internet looking for a carb kit for this bike (BS28 Mikuni) but have been unable to find one. Anyone know a website that sells these things. Also, if you have any experiencing cleaning/ rebuilding these carbs, your two cents would be valuable.

I have a 1995 Suzuki Savage 650, single cylinder. It has a 3-position fuel switch: ON (which automatically becomes OFF when the engine is shut off), PRI ("Prime", which bypasses the automatic OFF), and REServe. I had it parked in the garage all winter with the switch in what I ...
