Harbor Freight Lift28 Oct 2007 23:05 GMT4
I *almost* went down to Harbor Freight the other day to get a lift when a
friend in another state mentioned that his felt much less stable than the
"high dollar lifts" that you might find in a motorcycle shop. My primary
use will be to work on my KZ1000P's, a trials bike a dirtbike ...

Two spark plugs - One cylinder
I have a circa 1970 Yamaha 175 enduro motorcycle that has one
cylinder, but two spark plugs.  I've never had a spark plug wire on
the 'other' plug and it's run just fine.  Now, many many years later,

Hello all humans far brighter than I!
Recently took my 1980 CB750F on a two hour highway trek to NYC.
Pulled into a reststop a little over half an hour into the trip.  As I
pulled onto the ramp and began to downshift, the clutch handle felt

CL350 Carb Problems.19 Oct 2007 23:04 GMT5
So I bought some after market carbs for my 72 CL350 from SUDCO. I had
some problems with the carbs fitting into the carb holders. The one on
the left actually fell out of the carb holder while riding. Seems to
me they should fit as well as the old carbs at least.
2002 KLX110 Warming Up and Idling Issues?19 Oct 2007 17:18 GMT1
Purchased this bike new in '02 for my son. Always seemed to take a few
more kicks than I thought it should and seems to take a fairly long
time to warm up to where it will idle without the choke. Adjusting the
idle doesn't make a difference.

strange problem. On the right side of the engine, the bike will start,
but you can tell by holding the exhuast pipe on the right side, it is
not firing. If i take off the plug wire on the right side and hold it
virago xv535 replace rear shocks? Advice needed17 Oct 2007 22:36 GMT13
Hi. I have a 1996 XV535 that has done about 5k miles. I find the
suspension harsh over small bumps, typical of urban streets, these
aggravate my back something rotten. I recently rode 170 miles around
Samos in Greece on a 125cc scooter, on some very rough roads with no
Thermostat removal17 Oct 2007 19:21 GMT6
I have a Triumph T-Bird that runs hotter than I would like it to. I
was considering removing the thermostat to see if I can get increased
cooling system flow to help alleviate the issue. I have done this with
cars and compressors and have never had an issue, in fact, it has
