Sprockets & Torque & Cruising Speed & MPG & Chains26 Aug 2008 09:31 GMT102
I could use a brief refresher course on changing sprockets on a
motorcycle.  With a dual purpose bike I once had, when going off-road,
I simply lengthened the chain and hung it around a larger rear
sprocket.  Guess I had a "dual" sprocket on the back of that bike.
HEY, I'LL EVEN MAKE IT SIMPLER.  JUST O-N-E LITTLE QUESTION SO AS NOT     TO OVERLOAD THE TINY MIND OF TOG IF HE DECIDES TO PIPE IN WITH HIS USUAL LACK     OF KNOWLEDGE.25 Aug 2008 21:41 GMT5
On the TW200 I thinking of buying, I understand it comes with a stock
50 rear sprocket.
What will be the performance results of changing the rear sprocket to

Ominous chirping sound from my S4024 Aug 2008 07:11 GMT1
Lately my S40 (aka LS650 belt-drive Savage) has developed a chirping
sound which seems to be coming from the rear wheel. It starts about
40 kph (25 mph) and is worst (ie, loudest) at about about 55 kph.
Above 60 kph it seems to diminish.

easy.  However, I came across a few sites that should explain it once
