Shouldn't have been sniffing the MZ's exhaust fumes, it seems to be bad
for what little reminds of my sanity.

So I have been out[1] most of the day putting a tank and a half of
petrol back into the atmosphere for the trees to recycle and my toes are
toasty warm, good it is.  I wish I could say the same for me poor little

My 400 Four carbs, that is. Been bought by a Jp collector with a 6000+
FB. He seems to buy memorabilia, collectables, that sort of thing. Never
seems to sell anything: just buys stuff[1]. I bet he has a boutique on
Tokyo, and I imagine my carbs will be mounted on a mahogany plinty ...

So, as some people know, I've been up to Carlisle to collect a "failed
restoration project" Honda 400 Four.
Details too long to relate here, but suffice to say that well over a
grand had been thrown at this money pit, with at least as much again

I knew these carbs would cause a stir (Possibly the only brand new 400/4
carbs on the planet?) but I never thought they'd make this sort of price
after just two days.
