Flooded Guzzis in Merkania: http://www.billsneddon.com/motoguzzi/index.html Looks like not a lot of fun. Go large on Solvol, I see the value of it's shares increasing.

The CB 750 sprang in to life this avo. Thanks to all who offered advice. I took the carbs off and cleaned them again. I'm not sure this had much effect. The CB750 has a vacuum operated fuel valve in series with the manual

| Bimbling on the SL125 | 28 Aug 2007 07:16 GMT | 4 |
The donor SL I bought came with a set of brand new, boxed, indicators, so I've just bolted them on and started on the engine casings with Loyblox and Solvol, as they haven't seen a polish in decades, I reckon. Coo, this bike is coming up a treat, so I went for a 15-mile bimble this

| More CB750 fun | 27 Aug 2007 06:50 GMT | 17 |
So, gentlemen, the story so far is that my CB750 carbs were blocked. I took them off and cleaned out the jets - three jets per carb. Still doesn't work. It runs fine on easystart - if I keep spraying it runs continuously.

| SOTrident 900 drive noise | 25 Aug 2007 09:14 GMT | 6 |
My 1993 Trident 900 has done about 36,000 miles (that's right, it's not been heavily used in its 14 years...) I notice a certain amount of drivetrain noise, especially in top gear, but I'm not sure what part of the drivetrain is making this noise. It's a

Ebay item 330155304434 I could see from the pix that it's utterly unmolested, and so it proved. The chroms is also amazingly good for such an old bike. Camchain's rattling a bit, because people never know how to adjust it

| CB125 overview | 19 Aug 2007 20:00 GMT | 8 |
Well, as ever, there were a few bodges. It seemed to be running leav, and I could see a small gap between carb and inlet manifold casting, so removed the carb. Someone had put in an O-ring that was too thick, and hadn't bolted up the carb tight.

| RD400 to UGP | 19 Aug 2007 19:31 GMT | 7 |
So the 2007 Ulster GP was a wet one, so wet in fact the last two races were cancelled. There are many fields to spectate from, the first one I chose at Leathemstown Corner had me calf deep in mud. Later I found Tullyhubbert, his brother Rob and young Andrew near Deer's Leap, it ...
