FS. R1100GS light crash damage31 Dec 2006 23:40 GMT56
Would anyone be interested in my R1100GS as a winter project.
It's a bit bashed up from the crash I was in and I'm not in the mood to fix

state.
Infinity closing down sale31 Dec 2006 20:57 GMT16
So my biking neighbour suggests we pop down there this afternoon, to see
if there's any bargains going, as the doors of the Purley shop close for
good at 6pm.
I needed a new visor for my lid. Wound up with a brand new... Akashi,
Christmas gluttony corner31 Dec 2006 19:15 GMT23
Tomorrow, at the Chateau, we will mostly be eating:
Nice dresed crab, a whole lobster, and some salmon smoked by The Doctor
in her smokery (Furst time I think I've mentioned this thing. Looks like
a decapitated Dalek and is utterly brilliant).
That Lightning Strike thingy31 Dec 2006 17:18 GMT28

Cleaning an air filter31 Dec 2006 01:51 GMT15
This afternoon will most probably be fluids, filters and plugs day for
the Zephyr.
What is the best way of cleaning the air filter? (previously I have
bought a new one, but the old one never looks that bad so I reckon I'm
Bit OT: Gennies in B&Q30 Dec 2006 23:57 GMT11
When I was pottering round B&Q today, I noticed a couple of generators;
a 700-odd watt 2-stroke one for £40 and a 1.2Kw 4-stroke one for £80
So how much can it cost to make these things? B&Q must be making a
reasonable profit on them, especially as they take up a lot of shelf

Well, we survived!
The SO Audi80 turned up on boxing day as promised.
Bright red, it is, but with a distinctly faded-to-pink

miles in torrential rain and cross winds - loved every minute of it!
The bike has just hit 32k with 9.5k completed this year at an average of
36.8 mpg. Best was 43.2 mpg (IoM visit for the TT), worst was 31.2 ...

How to stunt a motorcycle30 Dec 2006 13:11 GMT7
It's that bloke Christian Pfeiffer again, in Taiwan this time.  Note
the size of the 'arena' and how close the crowd is - and the handsfree
standup circling wheelies, FFS.
