125cc Motorbike hire between CBT and DAS - North London, Barnet31 Jul 2007 23:58 GMT7
I am a new learner and have booked my CBT. I want to practice for a
couple of weeks between gaining the CBT and taking the DAS course to
increase my chances of success. I thought that I would hire a 125cc
bike for a couple of weeks before committing to buy any particular
HID kits.31 Jul 2007 23:58 GMT25
I've picked up a HID kit for a bike for a _really_ good price. It's a H7
6000K / 35 watt kit. Do these make a difference to night time riding?
Something to do with the increased UV output as opposed to a normal hot

Just been to the dealers where my wrecked bike's been sitting, to
rescue a couple of bits and bobs before the insco takes possession,

to go very carefully for a week or two.

engine flush?31 Jul 2007 18:01 GMT55
I've bought a 15 year old Kwak air-cooled twin with 12k on the clock
and am giving it a thorough going over. Would you recommend using
engine flush? It's been well looked after and the oil I drained out
was discoloured, but not terrible.

What recommendations do the group have for a bike for her? She doesn't like
