Garmin South Africa Maps19 Jul 2007 22:56 GMT11
Anyone know where I can get Garmin maps for South Africa at a reasonable
price?
I'm only there for a week, and I can't justify the fifty quid + shipping
from the USA that Garmin appear to want. Slightly out-of-date versions

The last bit of the garage reorganisation.
I seem to be more of a cruiser [1] /roadster kind of guy and I don't have
room for 2 summer bikes so this one has to go.
Its a 2002 R1100SS Boxer Cup Replika and has done 4000 miles.

Anything one needs to look for specifically if one would consider

Bike shop recommendation: Performance Triumphoin19 Jul 2007 12:52 GMT28
Last week I found myself needing a rear tyre at relatively short
notice.  So I popped into a new-ish dealership (18 months) in
Cheltenham called Performance Triumph.  The first positive sign, as I
parked round the back by the workshop doors, is that my old mate Mick

The police will have access to congestion charging cameras. I wonder
how long it will be before we hear that "thanks to the congestion

Tappet Trouble19 Jul 2007 08:47 GMT27
Ongoing battle with the Guzzi's tappets.
The L/H exh tappet was noisy and having worked out I'd not done them for
over a year thought it might be a good idea.
The Guzzi tappets are simple screw and locknut and all were within
Six Sigma (puke)19 Jul 2007 08:38 GMT15
I just had an unsolicited recruitment enquiry. The job description is:
"If you are an exceptional Lean Champion or Six Sigma Black Belt seeking a
new challenge with a global leader...."
I'm speechless, though we do know a Lean Champion.
