Is it hydraulic or spring operated? The reason I ask is, I changed oil & filter this afternoon & the cold rattle has gone? Thanks to Pip for the heads up.

The ZZR has some fitted on the front, as I have never come across them before, where could i get the right pads for them please? I can't see any identifying numbers or marks on them. I can upload a pic of the calipers if anyone could help?

I've got one of those smaller, three-drawer plus lid on top jobbies from Halfrauds (it may even be a Halfords Pro) with carry handle and all that. Don't need it anymore and it's taking up space in the garage that I don't have.

Well, *I* do. The K stripped its gearbox input shaft splines last night; To add insult to injury, that was on the way to my tame BMW mechanic to get it serviced and, strangely enough, have the gearbox looked at. Arse.
