Is it hydraulic or spring operated?
The reason I ask is, I changed oil & filter this afternoon & the cold

The jury in the case of the cyclists who were killed on an icy road has
blamed (amongst other things) the driver's "inappropriate driving" in
the conditions.

Anybody need a toolbox?15 Jul 2007 09:24 GMT17
I've got one of those smaller, three-drawer plus lid on top jobbies from

Piaggio Ape collection and drive15 Jul 2007 07:47 GMT17

I've finally picked up a new battery from Mick Bull for the benly. He
said 'give it a bit of charge before you fit it'. How? Why? It's a new
just filled battery - why does it need more charge?
You want a nice reliable BMW, you do14 Jul 2007 21:10 GMT129
Well, *I* do.
The K stripped its gearbox input shaft splines last night; To add insult
to injury, that was on the way to my tame BMW mechanic to get it
serviced and, strangely enough, have the gearbox looked at. Arse.
eek!14 Jul 2007 18:12 GMT3
before I went out for a ride today, I thought I'd give the Tiger a bit
of a wash. When I was cleaning it, I noticed there seemed to be a bit
of play in the right footrest/brake lever - so I gave it a bit of a
shake....
