I had a small problem with my electric screen going 'click'.  On
inspection the cables had come close to siezing and the motor that
drives them had jumped a tooth or so.
To pre-empt this I'd suggest you take the electric screen assembly off

I'm hoping to win a new pair of cans for the Duke on Fleabay. Only
they're in Newtonards, NI. Anyone near there who comes over the water
regularly, and who could do an underground railway?

So I'm looking for a new car stereo to go with a new car. It would make
sense to have integrated iPod control. Must have steering wheel remote,
but I've heard some horror stories regarding control interfaces.
Anyone use one and have recommendations?

Taking the bike in for MOT this morning.  As this is my first visit to a
testing station for about 10 years I take it I still only need to take the

What's the situation with these new-fangled computerized MOTs?
One of the cars was without a valid MOT for 6 months and I must have
passed a few automatic number plate recognition cameras but nothing
happened. The previous MOT was one of the last of the old-style ones,

Back on the 17th I posted about my bike being backed into by a 4x4.  I
knew that it wouldn't be as simple as replacing a can and bar end so I
let Carole Nash's lot take it away for exploratory surgery.

I've tried flying small Cessna type planes, they were a yawn experience
(1) and small helicopters, they made me slightly nauseous (and poor) but
for some reason I never thought seriously about Gliding, until now. I

My PC in the office doesn't like Nokia PC Suite 6.84 but I didn't find
this out until I'd upgraded it.
Does anyone have 6.7 they could let me have or point me at and
