| Bike breakers? | 11 Aug 2007 02:12 GMT | 4 |
I've poked about on the net and sent an email or two but there appears to be more 'we can seach breakers for you' sites than breakers. Any suggestions of breakers that you have found useful/helpful? I'm looking for a seat for a 2005 KLE 500 if anyone has one.

| Today I have mostly been lowering the level of the Med | 10 Aug 2007 23:54 GMT | 36 |
By swallowing about a quarter of it in my first windsurfing lesson. Note for those who Know How To Do It: Rhodees is effing windy. 16-18 knot wind, apparently. After an hour and 45 euros I'd managed to stay on board for about 15 seconds and move a couple of metres.

| Valve Clearances - to check or not to check | 10 Aug 2007 21:47 GMT | 92 |
Once again I'm here looking for advice: I've got a Honda Blackbird that's just due for its 16000 miles. The book says it should have the valve clearances checked (for the first time). My local independant workshop said they wouldn't bother doing that if there was

Rather good really for a novice "downloader" like me. Worked fine with no bugs so far but took about 4 days to get a response to the original request for the download. Ideal for those episodes of Gardeners World that get missed when

Does anyone on this group have one of these fitted? If so, which mount is prefered, as obviously, the one supplied is no use at all. Thanks for any answers. --

| Storing spares | 10 Aug 2007 17:37 GMT | 16 |
My spare set of brake calipers seem to attract moisture and start furring incredibly quickly, even if an ant pisses in next-door's garden. Is there anything I could coat them in to stop this happening, without risking damage to the seals?

I succumbed to the Dark Side..... Bought a Yamaha XT 600E for commuting & playing around the lanes on. Thought it may have been a bit tall as the seat height is 855mm but got on it no problems, rode it & can just put both toes down or a foot flat & foot on the pegs.

Looks like it's on, but the mountain will be shut to spectators, they'll be disinfecting marshals (about time if you ask me), and they want people to watch from the various town sections if possible. So I'd imagine the racers will be happy, but it'll be a bit sh.t for the
