So can the FOAK tell me what the name of the flower is that only blooms for
one day?
We've got a few in planters oop 'ere and so far two have blossomed, looked
really nice and the folded up their respective tents and f.cked off. All

The sun is out at last in Yorkshire, well it's dry if nothing else and warm

Reading in the spic press today, there's some do on in scotland. They

Got my insurance renewal letter showing £350 and details of a price
promise, so I got an online quote from Bennetts which came out at £295.
I called bikesure to test their price promise and they dropped the
price to £275.

Seen this morning on the A46 dual carriageway between Stratford Upon
Avon and the M40 - a Porsche (911 shape, but dunno what they're called
nowadays) with blue flashing lights mounted in valance and top of
windscreen.  Fortunately, it was travelling on the opposite cariageway

Took the head and barrels off to inspect the cam followers.  Not a happy
sight greeted me.

This morning I was sitting at the end of the M4 just before the start
of the elevated section when a guy on something boring looking,
complete with top box, comes past high on the back wheel between the
