I keep being drawn to non-mainstream bikes, would it be really silly to wander along to have a look at this? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270148936614 (Laverda RGS Executive)

Fitted the spare (original) front wheel with the Avon Venom onto the Wing on Saturday morning. Ah, so that's what front end grip feels like? More on this later. Set off for Platyfest mid-afternoon, and had a simple run down the M4.

I did a cut-down practise test last night, just for a laugh. Some of the questions were a bit crap. E.g. "What does a catalytic converter do?" - wtf has that got to do with being able to ride a bike safely? The best one though was "When should you check your wheel alignment".

There's a chap in our office, I've written of him before ... has raced for bloody years, bikes and cars, though gave up the bikes a few years back. These days he does a variety, including Radicals, Stealth and GT cars.

| FOAK: Reclaiming VAT on exports | 02 Aug 2007 15:14 GMT | 4 |
I know there's at least one Guernseyman on the group. Other non-EU posters and or tax accountants may know! How do I go about reclaiming VAT on goods bought privately in the UK for export to Jersey (non-EU, VAT-free)? Do I need to get a form before

I need to put a tent, sleeping bag and roll mat on the back of the bike. Bear in mind, I have twin underseat cans with no heat shielding and they stick out a little from under the seat.
