in Aber' for 7 hungry bikers on a weekend trip?

gearbox death?27 Aug 2007 22:15 GMT4
My 40k miles 1991 GSX600F has started making a clunking noise ONLY in
second gear. Sounds and feels similar to what happens when a chain
slips on a sprocket,
The other gears are all fine, so it isn't the chain.
f.ck!27 Aug 2007 21:35 GMT93
I've been robbed.
Came in through the kitchen window whilst I was asleep. Laptop and a
car full of tools taken along with my wallet containing my cards, and
my mobile. And all the keys in the house. I still have a bike, but I
Assistance with photo editing27 Aug 2007 17:52 GMT25
Hi guys, I have what I think is a good photo save for a hugely distracting
background.
I was wondering if anyone here could offer any tips on how best to edit the
photo in an attempt to improve it.

HPI check - bike on finance?27 Aug 2007 08:49 GMT3
I've agreed to buy a Triumph 675 and 'cos it's the most expensive bike
I've ever bought, told the current owner I was going to HPI check it.
He said that it would currently show it is financed as they had told
him it takes several days until it clears.
B12 Rear Light Bulbs.27 Aug 2007 08:30 GMT15
The bulbs in my rear light (IIRC: 12v 21/5W) seem to blow very
frequently.
I understand this is a common problem due to vibration.
Can anyone recomend a suitable bulb that's more resistant to vibration

Cheap mini-moto, borked26 Aug 2007 22:07 GMT4
A mate's littl'un has a no-name (presumed Chinese) mini-moto, due to a
surfeit of adult idiots thrashing it about at the Bulldog t'other weekend,
it stopped, apparently seized...
Luckily a bit of investigation revealed that the motor was OK (for Chinese
EOSM26 Aug 2007 20:43 GMT36
Theoretically speaking, if someone's wife was out of the country and
someone had two dogs to look after and therefore couldn't couldn't come
on his bike to the EOSM but turned up in a CRV with two dogs in the back
to pitch his tent - would anyone speak to him, except to take the ...

I am currently considering where to go on my hols in mid September. I
haven't done much exploring in Germany but have been to Berlin and a
long while ago to Koln and Dusseldorf / Rhine Ruhr area.
I prefer to stay in cities with decent public transport in the area and
Holiday recommendation26 Aug 2007 18:34 GMT1
Just come back from a week in the Azores (San Miguel island).  Excellent for
a week's break.  Warm climate, stunning views - mountains, lakes, boiling
volcanic pools, sea cliffs, dolphins, flying fish and whales (if you're
lucky).  Good food especially the local black pudding, the ...

Tyres... again!26 Aug 2007 16:24 GMT17
My Trumpet is supposed to have 170/60ZR17 on the arse end.
Can I fit, 180/55ZR17 instead? I fancy the wider tyre with the lower
profile. By my checking, there is very little in it.
I'd appreciate the input from you clever lot.
