I've won an ebay auction for a tank, sidepanels and tailpiece for a 750 turbo. The bits are in Chester (or its environs). Is there anyone who could assist in URing them to Gloucestershire or Warwickshire?

So, today was the day when I had a good look over 'the beast' and gave it a bit of a service. First, oil change. No nasties, oil not in bad shape and filter not so dirty.

While in the US, we happened across the US129. Also known as the "Tail of the Dragon", 318 bends in 11 miles. It was fun, I grinned... a lot. Rumour has it the round trip record is 22 mins.

Last wee I receive a letter from DVLA which was a confirmation of SORN for the R1. Strange, because I have not sorn'd the bike Phoned DVLA and they say it must have been a keying

OK, so I thought I'd fit the new (used) Ducati cans I bought for the SS. The can is a push fit into the headers, and is secured by the usual bracket at the pillion peg end. How hard can it be? Answer: fecking hard.

A bloke at work told me this yesterday & thinking about it, the blade used to get loads of flies round it after i washed it, never noticed on any other bike. Better get some flyspray then.
