More tyre advice30 Jun 2008 23:41 GMT11
My bike just passed it MOT with tyres quite squared and down to the
wear limiter - I was surprised they went through TBH
As I'm off to Germany on the 5th I wondered if I should get some new
tyres but it'll kill my pig if I spend 200 quid and come back with

You wouldn't have one of those nice oversize pilot jets for an MZ
TS250, would you? You know: the ones that achieve a decent tickover?
I'm certain mine's running the original, so you can have a tickover
and hunting on the over-run, or a nice smooth overrun and not much of

brief descriptions of some of the attendees. Would it be wrong to put
them up with a 'Guess who?' tag?
Racing - Brands Hatch, Sunday 6th July30 Jun 2008 20:23 GMT4
I'll be at Brands Hatch on Sunday for my first race outing
of the year, and my first since busting myself up last season.
Qualifying is slated for the leisurely time of 11.12am with
racing to start after this as I think we're the last slot.

Recommendation for cheap as chips throwovers required.
Need to be able to survive a trip to Chimay and back.
Failing that: anyone got a rack for a CBX?
Last minute preps - nearly30 Jun 2008 18:20 GMT11
So with my first Euro tour less than a week away, there are just a few
more questions to ask:
1. We arrive in Rotterdam at the Europoort at 0900 on Sunday. Are we
likely to have trouble getting petrol en route through Netherland/

Snail mail arrived - wasn't expected but appreciated. I think we spent

Sidewinder update30 Jun 2008 11:15 GMT21
It's in the boot of my car - it's in pretty good nick but it has no
bracketry or destructions. I think I'll give the makers a call tomorrow
and ask if they have any of either kicking around.
Nearest trackday to Portsmouth, UK?30 Jun 2008 11:05 GMT4
Where's the nearest trackday if travelling from Portsmouth in the UK?
2 weeks30 Jun 2008 10:29 GMT3
Right, I;ve buggerred about bleeding the linked brakes on the blackbird for
long enough [1]
so I've admitted defeat and booked it in to Portsmouth Honda in 2 weeks
time.
First they came for the ambulance buyers30 Jun 2008 01:29 GMT16
From today's Sunday Times: Plod wants to make it illegal to buy
decommissioned ambulances, on the grounds that they could be used by
suicide bombers.

I was googling for a suitable gift for a young lad's birthday and was
rather alarmed by a search result URL:
