Recommendations sought for a supplier of a replacement battery for my
'01 R1150R
Ok - almost certainly induced by a sustained period of numptiness,
leaving the parking lights on for a couple of hours a couple of weekends

My bike just passed it MOT with tyres quite squared and down to the
wear limiter - I was surprised they went through TBH
As I'm off to Germany on the 5th I wondered if I should get some new
tyres but it'll kill my pig if I spend 200 quid and come back with

You wouldn't have one of those nice oversize pilot jets for an MZ
TS250, would you? You know: the ones that achieve a decent tickover?
I'm certain mine's running the original, so you can have a tickover
and hunting on the over-run, or a nice smooth overrun and not much of

I've found my wibblings about my first UKRM event. Included are very
brief descriptions of some of the attendees. Would it be wrong to put
them up with a 'Guess who?' tag?

I'll be at Brands Hatch on Sunday for my first race outing
of the year, and my first since busting myself up last season.
Qualifying is slated for the leisurely time of 11.12am with
racing to start after this as I think we're the last slot.

So with my first Euro tour less than a week away, there are just a few
more questions to ask:
1. We arrive in Rotterdam at the Europoort at 0900 on Sunday. Are we
likely to have trouble getting petrol en route through Netherland/

Snail mail arrived - wasn't expected but appreciated. I think we spent
over £300 on diesel that weekend.

It's in the boot of my car - it's in pretty good nick but it has no
bracketry or destructions. I think I'll give the makers a call tomorrow
and ask if they have any of either kicking around.

Where's the nearest trackday if travelling from Portsmouth in the UK?

Right, I;ve buggerred about bleeding the linked brakes on the blackbird for
