Howdy,
I have just bought a UK XT600 (mid eighties) from a friend of mine, and it
has a starter problem, it doesn't disengage (and turns if you kick the
starter).

I made a big mistake yesterday.  I went into the local Yamaha dealer, to sit
on the Vstar 1100 Silverado and decided to try on the 1700 Road Star
Silverado.............For an extra $5k you get so much more.....  Now all I
have to do is convince my wife it's a real good idea to spend ...

OK, maybe, just maybe, I might go to the dark side and sell my Dyna and get
a V Max....what I really want to do though is put it in a chopper frame....I
like the way my Harley looks, but want the reliability of a Yamaha and the
power of a V Max...

I am in Texas where some of the best places to go to get a bike financed. I
do have some credit issues.

I have a '95 Waveraider Deluxe 701. The waverunner has always worked great and
never needed any kind of tune-up or service. I have run Yamalube, flushed
before (To warm up motor a bit) and after (to clean) and done a good job each
year of winterizing the jet-ski. Last year for the ...

 I have a yamaha 125L dirt bike. It is a 2003 model. It starts fine
when it has been used recently (2 or 3 kicks) but if it sets unused for
a while it takes a lot of kicks to get it started. If I leave it for a
week it takes about 7 or 8 kicks to start, which isn't a problem but  ...

does any know of a good site to look for Ape Hanger bars for a '99 Roadstar.
I want a bar that is 1 1/4" diameter so that I can hide my cables.  Also any
information on the after market cables and wires (good quality).  Trying to
get the work done before the weather breaks.  Thanks

Looking for parts for an SRX 6. Tank, tank fuel shutoff gasket, rear
sprocket. Bike was stored 12 years. Holes in tank both sides Pin sized.
Carb/s is well dirty. SUGGESTIONS?

I think I saw a post here a while back talking about some company that makes
an add on drivers backrest for the Roadstar factory seat that looks OEM.
Anyone have any information?

How good was the Yamaha Virago??
I think it came in 750 and 500 VTwin variants...?

I have a 2004 V-Star 1100 classic and would like to get a nice comfortable
touring seat for it. Looking at a Mustang with a removable fold down drivers
back rest. Took a 200 mile ride with a friend and his 2004 HD heritage
softail. My butt was burning after 100 miles his wasn't ...

I am pretty much settled on the Phat kit. Bigger lines and all.

Any veteran bikers out there know how to deal with road salt and/or its
effects? (besides not be stupid and ride in the winter)
I have been chastised by many because I ride my bike longer than most.
I don't ride in the snow but I do need to be sensitive to road salt.  I

Can anyone help?  I recently purchased a 1994 XJ600 Seca II.  Who ever had
the bike before me did some very strange things and really didn't look after
the bike very well so I'm starting to get things sorted but have hit a few
problems.
