I recently bought a used 2000 TW and absolutely love the bike.It had 560
miles on the odometer when I bought it and ordered the shop manual from

Just purchased a '99 Virago 1100.  Rides great but is a little rough at idle
and there is valve tick.  Is this normal?

Am trying to revive my old XS2. Its been idle for about 6 years. After removing
and cleaning the carbs ( freed stuck floats ) i got it started. But it will
only stay running on full choke. any suggestions on my next step.  thanks

Say, are you the same "Brunodude" who got the V-Star 1100 shop manual on CD
on E-Bay ??  Unfortunately, I found out about it too late to place a bid.
If you are the same person, could you please check the CD and post any
ordering information that might be listed on it.

I just bought private party , a '03  TTR-125/L (w/ disc front brake).  As I
don't have the manual yet, I'm not sure why the bike won't idle, however I
have read that it might be the carb.
Either way, I thought I'd try to idle it up first.

hi there I'm new to bikes and need a bit of advice, I know the virago has a
soft suspension but there is a very small smear left on one of the fork
stanchions when it compresses. Is this a indication that the oil seals are
on there way out? It only appears on one stanchion.

Does anyone know if there is a classic-like "fat" fender for the 1100 Vstar

I'm going to need new tires soon.  The current tires are Dunlop D404's.
Should I stay with these or go with another brand?  Any recommendations?
