| Lowers eliminate buffeting! | 29 Jul 2004 04:51 GMT | 10 |
I installed the medium (16 1/4") Yamaha windshield on my V-Star 1100 Classic. The windshield created a narrow tunnel of calm air right about my head, but I had a strong current on each side wipping about my ears. That air was coming up from over the gas tank on either side.

| Yamaha Fleecing Canadian Customers? | 28 Jul 2004 14:17 GMT | 6 |
It appears that Yamaha dealers in Canada sell accessories at a price that is much higher than what the American web site for Yamaha advertises, exchange rate factored in. Example:

| Made my VSTAR Louder | 25 Jul 2004 23:12 GMT | 29 |
I've been tired of sneaking up on cats and little old ladies on my 650 for some time. Yesterday I ran into three VSTAR 1100 riders and they showed me a trick. You drill three or four half inch holes just inside the back end of the pipe. There's a serious slant so ya gotta drill a ...

| v-star 1100 oil change | 24 Jul 2004 19:40 GMT | 6 |
Changed the oil and filter on my vstar 1100 and after I finished I started to wonder if it is possible to put the filter in backwards. I put the filter in with the opening facing outward. Is this correct or is it the only way it will fit?

Fella at work bought a Max a short while back. Tells me its giving an 80 mile range???????? and cuts out when switched to reserve, even before its dried up. Is this the norm. I'd be a tad pissed it was. Can you source a bigger tank for them?.

| Waving | 23 Jul 2004 17:37 GMT | 24 |
I walk my dogs a lot up and down Million Dollar Rd and make it a habit to wave at every person that goes by. I haven't found or can't think of something other than smiling that has a greater instant impact on oneself.
