This is an engine I bought at a yamaha auction, with several other parts.

V-Max Tires30 Aug 2004 02:15 GMT4
I need to replace the rear tire on my '89 vmax (sheetrock screw).  I saw on
a website somewhere a recommendation for the Michelin Macadam 50.  However,
the mechanic at the local Yamaha dealer showed me a set of new Macadams he
had just taken off another customer's vmax.  He said ...
V-Star 1100 Tires29 Aug 2004 23:40 GMT5
I have just over 10,000km on my V-Star 1100 Classic, and the rear tire
is wearing thin. I figure maybe another 2000km. This is OE Dunlop
tire.
Although it does not seem like I got much mileage out of it, I must

After  getting my 2003 650 vstar out of winter storage, I had a gas leak due
to the carbs needing to be cleaned. Even though I drained the gas and did
the winter storage stuff.Had dealer clean it, worked fine. But now after
sitting for about 3 weeks, same problem. The bike started ...
What tyres for an XJ600 (Pre-Diversion)?28 Aug 2004 15:45 GMT1
The back tyre on my XJ is just about done and I am now looking for another
brand.  It is shod with Michelin Macadams at the moment and I have to say
they are the worst and most uninspiring, confidence sapping tyres I have
ever tried.  Especially when it's raining.

1991 XT600 running rich24 Aug 2004 11:50 GMT1
I got this bike about a month ago and all was fine. I just did some
basic tune up stuff (oil, filters, plug). I pulled out the old plug
that looked like it had been in there since 1990. ;) The electrode was
quite worn but the plug was clean. I replaced it. The old air filter

VStar Oil Change Revisited23 Aug 2004 16:50 GMT24
This was discussed a few weeks ago and no doubt has been the subject of
conversation for the last several years.  Simply put, the mechanical
