Looking for info on the 2005 Road Star Silverado. Im getting ready to
purchase one and im trying to find out if anyone owns one and if there are
any specific problems I should be looking for, before I purchase this bike.

I've got a new 2003-2004 V-Star 650 manual on cd. I bought on E-bay for my
bike but didn't look at the year range. I've got a 98 V-Star so I don't need
it. If anyone needs it make me a decent offer and it's yours.

This just pees me off as a potential buyer. I phoned the three dealers in my
city way back in Jan asking when the new models would arrive. I was told by

intermitently. Both coils seem to be ok but when the engine is running
cylinders 1&3 keep cutting in and out. I have heard that there is a balast

I have a 2004 YZF R1 that I'd like to try to give the 4,000 mile tune-up
myself.  In reading the service manual, it says that I need to siphon (pump)
the gas out of the tank before removing it.  Now it's been several years
since I did this on my dirt bike, but I don't recall ever ...
