I'm contemplating whether to buy an R6 or a CBR 600 RR, both of which are
2003 models.
Can someone pls provide some input about the pros and cons of each, to
help make my decision process a little easier?

I am a short-time rider, started about 6 months ago, all on my '81
SR250 ("The Exciter").  I love the bike, easy to ride, cheap,
forgiving, GREAT mileage, etc.  I was riding up the PCH on a beautiful
Saturday, hit a bump, and she just died.  I coasted over to the

I have 1981 XS 400 Special II that I've put a new battery in, however only
24 hours later it was dead already.  I suspect an electrical leak,  has
anyone ever run into this?  What could cause this?

Yesterday there was a motorcycle rider passed me going the opposite
direction and it looked like he was wearing a hockey mask or something
similar. Is there some new fad going around or a new type of helmet?

Is there somewhere where you can buy studs for seats or backrests?  Cheaper
than buying a new backrest.  I bought a used mustang seat cheap but it is
studded and now my backrest doesn't match because it isn't.  Any comments?
