Vstar 1100 Runs Rough @ Low RPM29 Jul 2005 22:26 GMT5
My '99 Vstar 1100 has started to run rough at lower RPMs. Sounds as though
it's dropping spark every once in a while. I replaced the plugs, but the
problem is still there. When I get up past 3,000 RPM, the problem seems to
go away. Has anyone had problems like this? Thanks.

AIS system26 Jul 2005 09:10 GMT3
I've got a bone stock '05 V-Star 650 Custom.  When decelerating, my pipes
rumble and pop.  I've read that when installing aftermarket pipes, one
sometimes needs to disable the AIS system.  Is the popping I'm hearing
normal for a stock setup??
New Gas tank24 Jul 2005 07:30 GMT1
I would like to upgrade my present gas tank for one with a little more
capacity.  I have an 85 virago 1000.  Has anyone else done this and
what type did you use.  At preset it is 3 gal.  I do a lot of long
hauls and would like to go upto at least 5 gal.

Rough idling/low fuel economy 88 Virago 53519 Jul 2005 17:47 GMT1
I just bought an 88 Yamaha Virago 535 and have been riding it.
Shortly after I bought it, it started running rough, even stalling
when I stop at a light.  And I noticed that it’s only getting about
10-15 MPG.  When I start it after it sits overnight, it even will
