I've got a `93 XV250 (Virago) with (I'm pretty sure) a bung starter
motor (hooking it up to a battery (in a vice :)) produces nothing but a
nice spark, while the solenoid seems fine).
I suspect that I'll have a bit of a job finding a refurb one here in

I bought my son a 1992 tzr 125 that has not been run for 5 years sat in
garage,when we start it up the engine will not tick over it revs up to 5k
revs and then dies any ideas????????????

Bought a 1993 Seca II about 2 weeks ago with only 8000 miles on it,
he owner said it's been sitting in his garage for the past 12 months.

Having a problem with the starter on my 1994 Yamaha Virago XV1100
When I try the starter first thing in the morning it will just click for
10 or 15 times, then would turn over and start for the rest of the day

finally broke down from the pressure and bought a used '03 FZ1 from my local
dealer, what a bike......R1 power in a sit up n beg frame.
the search for the perfect street bike is over at last.

Can anyone identify the correct model of this bike for me please?

Yamaha Virago DX535
Tyre size F: 3.00-19 49s (90/90 or 100/90's will fit)
              R:  140/90 15  (150/90 should also fit)
Been looking at replacement tyres.  Currently German Metzlers  ME11 front

While riding over the last few days on the Dragstar, at higher speeds and
round bends the front end was wobbling quite a lot, which was a bit unusual.
I checked tyre pressures, head bearings, etc and everything was fine.  The
tyres are quite new and are matched, so that can't ...

In need of a new choke cable.  Any help?

   I have a 1978 Yamaha XS750SE. Last fall I started it, and while warming
up, it quit. When I try to start it now, it backfires (loudly). I would like
to know what the causes of this might be and what to look for to cure this.

Any thoughts on tire selection for a 2005 FJR1300?  Mainly commuting....
rain or shine. How many miles can I expect out of a set of tires on a bike
this heavy?
