I just got a 1100 custom this summer. It is a 1999 with 3K miles. Is there a sevice manual that you would recomend? I prefer to do most of my own sevicing. I have more confidence that it has been done right when I do it myself..

Can anyone tell me the correct way to remove the starter motor from my XV1100 1992 According to the manual, remove the lead and the 2 securing bolts and it should pull out.
