My Blaster was working well when we put it up. Went to ride today and when
choke is on runs great. Turn choke off and 4 wheeler dies as though it's not
getting gas. Any ideas of whats wrong would be appreciated.

I am currently restoring a Yamaha XT550.
   The first thing needed was the shift shaft. Broke the engine down to
find there is no gasket for the 2 crankcase halves. It looks like it was
sealed with something liquid that later hardened. I have scoured the manual

I aquired a Yamaha 350 warrior and want to idnetify the year.  I have the
frame number and engine number but need to  know where I can go for the

Would anyone have an idea why I can get blaster cranked but when you try to
use throttle it cuts off like it is getting too much gas and where would be
a good place to get a service manual?

I haven't ridden since late 70's and like the looks and price of this bike.
Does anyone have an opinion of the 650 vs. the 1100 other than the power?

I used a Kreem gas tank restoration kit on my Yamaha XS650.  Seemed to work
ok.  But how do I get rid of the chemicals?  I have a bucket (polyethylene)
full of about 3 gallons of the "prep A" fluid.  I think it is muriatic acid.
