Does anybody know if it is possible to replace the stock muffler on the XT
225 with a quitter muffler and where this can be found?

I recently purchased a Yamaha V Star 1300 Tourer from Simi Valley
Yamaha.  The owner's manual indicated that it be serviced at 1 month.
I took it into Simi Valley Cycles, where I purchased the bike, and was
quite surprised that the bill came out to $242.96!

About a year ago I bought this 1983 400CC Seca (XS400RK). I got it pretty
cheap, $800. I just wanted to start riding again and save some gas. last
bike was a 1981 Seca 750 (XJ750 Seca).
I was really surprised at how peppy this bike is for a 400 twin...

Has anyone tried either the Metzeler ME880 or Dunlap D404 of the front. My
type of riding are long rides with my wife and around 50+ pounds of luggage.
I'm tired of the cupping with Bridgestones. Any other suggestions would be
greatly appreiciated. FYI - I just got the Dunlap ...

It's the only thing I can figure on this old 83 400CC Seca I'm restoring.
