I have a YZF-R1 2005 which I have imported to UK, but according to the law
here I have to change the speedometer to mph instead of km/h. Beeing all
digital I tought it could just easily be set to mph by simply using the
dealer sevice manual. But unfortunately it is not so.

I have just (6 months ago) bought a Yamaha XTZ 125. Recently I
subscribed to Usenet and found this group. Before, I had searched my
other new server to no avail!
May I ask all sorts of dumb questions?

I have a 1987 Virago 750 that is missing the starter gears inside the engine
block.  The starter is there and works, it is the gear assembly inside that
the starter engages to that is missing.  I took it to a local dealer, but he
was unable to locate parts for it.  He told me ...

I realize anyone who owns, or who has ever owned a 650 has asked this
question. ..But is there anything available for keeping track of the
fuel supply in the 650, other than the odometer?
I can't figure out why Yamaha can't manufacture a guage for this bike.
